K12LTSP – K12 Linux Terminal Server Project – creates a lab environment that is easy to adminster, stable and reliable.
With K12LTSP, everything runs on the server, which means users and
programs are configured and managed in a central location on the
server. The workstations act as terminals, displaying screens and
accepting keystrokes.

install or configure software. Instead of 30 installs, you do one on
the server and every lab workstation instantly has access to it.

- Almost any computer, even an old 486, will work as a
workstation. Since all the processing happens on the server, the
workstations only need to run the display, and listen for mouse and
