Remote monitoring includes installation of software on your server. Specific changes to your firewall to allow COMPUTASSIST to connect to your server will be required. Measurements that cross defined thresholds will cause alerts to be sent to COMPUTASSIST and your choice of email addresses and/or text-messaging-capable phones.

Off-site data protection includes installation of software on your server to run the backups. No firewall modifications are required for this service. Off-site data protection is intended for your data files and documents, not for operating system restoration. With typical files, 1 GB is enough to store approximately 5,000-15,000 word processing documents or 300-800 photos.

Service hours are consulting hours available to you. You can use them for maintenance, training or planning. The activity does not have to be related to monitoring or data protection. Hours can be used on-site at your location or off-site for remote maintenance.
